I design experiential learning-based courses to help learners find new ways to solve problems. I believe in active, experiential, and highly discussion-based learning methods. I don't believe that learning happens precisely within the bounds of the traditional classroom, and to that end, I design learning spaces that adapt to varying learner experiences, knowledge, and abilities.
A non-credit, seminar-style workshop helping adult learners (non-traditional students) explore careers in technology and prepare for certification courses such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, and CompTIA ITF+.
A 3-credit honors seminar offered to honors students as part of their requirements for honors credit. The course examines leadership theories and concepts using active learning and experiential learning pedagogies.
A 3-credit service-learning course that teaches design thinking and innovation and partners undergraduate students with local non-profit organizations to solve problems using digital tools.

Co-instructed a 3-credit design thinking and innovation course that partners undergraduate students with a corporate partner to ideate on a wicked problem and how to bring new ideas to market.
A non-credit, practitioner-based certification course using IBM’s Blockchain curriculum. Students earn a digital badge and industry recognized credential upon completion of the course.
A 3-credit industry and culture study tour to Dublin and Cork, Ireland. The course utilized history, culture, and current technology-industry partners to teach students about the current global workforce in Ireland.
Developed a 3-credit hour outdoor leadership course with a study abroad component in partnership with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
A 1-credit weekly seminar designed to allow for greater reflection on the co-op experience for students who have completed at least one co-op rotation. Topics included reflective practice, leadership, project management, strengths development, and gender inequity in technology.
A 1-credit course that serves as an introduction to cooperative education for students entering the co-op job search process. Concepts include resume writing, professional development, leadership, equity and inclusion, intercultural awareness, and Strengths.
